Okay.  Art has finally picked up the pace. O:  Not my normal stuff, but still...it's nice to look at.

I found an nifty "how to make magickal eyes" tutorial on deviantart and had fun with it.  It's really extremely easy. x.x  Even moreso if you have a tablet.  It taught me the eye bit, I pretty much taught myself the eyelashes, face touch-ups and make-up stuff. ;P  It helps to have pretty brushes, too.

Let's start at the beginning; [all *clickable!~* for larger sizes, btw]



Four of five of my first eye experiments.  The very first one isn't included...it really isn't that good. x.x  Me second try, the second of this bunch, turned out much better.  The third one here is for my friend Anna. :]  Cos she loves the colours violet and turquoise -- probably more than I do.



These ones are pretty much in order of which I liked them. :]  As well as some success rate.  I got a bit wiser on skin by the second-last one of this bunch ["Frosted Geass" ~ I actually found a freakin' geass* brush on deviantart haha], as you can tell lol.  I don't really like the way the blue one looks, but I think I did well on it nonetheless. :D

* ~ Geass is a term from the anime Code Geass.  Look it up if you're curious.



And this would be my newest darling, "Open Minded Point of View".  I had originally planned to do something with the original picture, but it was taken around the time my computer was acting up and I couldn't use photoshop.  SO!  I broke it out and this is what happened. :]

This would be the "then and now" comparison of the original photo to what I did to it. ~   Enjoy.



Who remembers this one?  Well, it's not the one you're thinking.  It's an updated version.  I did more to it than just the eye blitz.  I gave it generally more tones and fixed things with the dodge and burn tools.

For you beginners in photoshop; dodge usually brightens things, while burn darkens them.  In photos, such as this, the dodge would take the lights and make them lighter, while the burn would take the shadows and make them deeper and darker.

Anyhow, the font for my name is also changed up slightly and some other things. :3  I'm far more pleased with this product.

I have another photo waiting in photoshop at the moment, so I'll let you all swirl these around in your minds a bit. :]  Remember, feedback is always dandy.

And this is my work.  It is all copyrighted to me.  I sat down and spent life on these, so taking and claiming and manipulating these without my personal consent would be plaguarism and people will be very pissed off.  Mainly me.  So let's just avoid a problem entirely, and not touch the right click, kay?

This is "Broke My Heart", again another product of boredom, with a hint of emo.  Mostly, I really wanted flutterby patterns and a nifty masking effect for this particular photo.  The depressing lyrics just sorta happened, along with the out of place splatters.


This is how I celebrate the change of season.
